Deer Creek in August, 2008. Deer Creek runs thru the northernmost part of the ranch near the front gate. It runs year-round except that it can freeze up in the winter. It is available for use for livestock or wildlife.
Far East Pond
This spring fed pond holds water year-round and is in the southeast section of the 100 Acre Pasture on the east side of the ranch.
There are 5 stock ponds on the ranch which can be used for livestock or wildlife. They hold water year-round but usually freeze over in the winter.

Northeast Pond.
This spring fed pond holds water year-round and is in the lower, northeast section of the 100 Acre Pasture on the east side of the ranch.
The southwest boundary of property is at skyline on top of ridge approximately 3/4 mile southwest of this pond.

Pond below Blind 1
This spring fed pond holds water year-round and is in the west section of the 100 Acre Pasture in the north-central part of the ranch. Note the quaking aspen trees beyond the pond.
There is 1 spring and 1 spring/well, both of which are in favorable, easy-to-reach locations.
Potable water can be obtained by drilling a well or possibly by improving the spring or the spring/well. The spring runs most of the year. The water level for the spring/well is about 5’ below the surface in the summer and fall. Water is currently pumped from the spring/well for use during the fall hunting seasons.
The water from the spring and spring/well have not been tested.
Water rights for the springs and ponds are in process with the State of Colorado.
The above information is for the full 520 acres.
There are 2 spring fed ponds on the 220 acres. Their photos are the "Northeast Pond" and Pond below Blind 1" in the photos above.
